Founder & PPCC Certified Coach
(ACSTC Accredited Program from the International Coaching Federation)
Bachelors of Fine Arts, Concordia University
Catherine obtained her personal and professional coaching designation from Concordia University. She holds a BFA in Contemporary Dance, with distinction, from Concordia and Simon Fraser University, where she also studied health and wellness and functional anatomy extensively. She is a certified instructor in both Qigong (Healing Tao University) and Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga Montreal), and this year marks twenty years of teaching body/mind awareness practices. She is a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and a collaborator with Mindspace and project contributor for their kids department program. Her work as a dancer, actor and choreographer has been showcased internationally in festivals and on television.
Since 1998—following a year of solo travels in Southeast Asia— Catherine has participated in silent meditation retreats, which have nourished her holistic approach. She sees breath awareness as key to living in authenticity and embodying the very changes we want to see manifest.
Catherine brings a unique blend of knowledge and experience to her coaching practice. She has a somatic approach guided by the core belief that true and lasting transformation can only be achieved through working with both the body and mind.
In 2002, as an independent entrepreneur, Catherine launched both her dance theatre company and founded Studio MMP—a multidisciplinary creative space for teaching, rehearsals and artistic production—located in the heart of downtown Montreal, where she teaches mind-body practices and holds most of her coaching sessions. She also teaches meditation at Studio Presence located in the mile-end and at Mindspace on Peel street, downtown montreal.
